Buhari to address Certificate controversy today

It was reported that the entry made for documentation by the APC candidate on its (Army) Form 199A, indicated that he wrote and passed the West African School Certificate in 1961. The Nigerian Army, at a news conference by its Director of Public Relations, Brig. Gen Olajide Laleye, in Abuja on Tuesday, has said Nigerian Army is not in custody of the original certificates of Buhari. He added also that they are not in possession of the photocopies or statement of results of Buhari. The Director of Media and Publicity of the APC Presidential Campaign Organisation, Garba Shehu, said in a terse statement on Tuesday night that Buhari would address a new conference on the issue on Wednesday(today). Woman Steals TV By Putting It Up Her Skirt

Police in Guapiles, Costa Rica, are amazed at how a woman was able to steal a plasma TV set by sticking it up her skirt. ABC Chicago reports that the shocking theft occurred two months ago, but is being made public in hopes of finding the robber. The Huffington Post has more: Surveillance video shows two unidentified females walking into an unnamed store. One of the women is wearing a flowing skirt and somehow is able to tuck a flat screen television between her legs. Even more amazing is her ability to walk out of the store with the TV without being caught red-handed or red-legged. Federal Government Approves New Petrol Import Permits

The Federal Government has issued supplementary import permits to oil marketers for the importation of petrol due to the poor output from the country’s refineries. It was learnt on Monday that the permits were given to marketers last Thursday by the government, which asked them to bring in the product to supplement domestic production. Officials of the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources and the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency told our correspondent that the marketers would import over 400,000 metric tonnes of premium motor spirit, otherwise known as petrol, to augment local production. It was also learnt that the volume of import was this high because the country’s refineries were still not producing at optimum capacities.
