Police has arrest Six members of a notorious robbery gang that had been terrorizing motorists and pedestrians on Lagos Badagry Expressway and residents of Ijanikin area of Lagos.
The suspects, identified as Solomon Edoh, Gibson Edibi, Ibrahim Ismali, Funbi Aformide, Junior Ekonafe and Rasaq Popoola, were arrested when anti-robbery policemen attached to Ijanikin Police Station, accosted them at Ketu-Ijanikin axis of the expressway, dispossessing innocent motorists of their valuables.
it was gathered that the bandits, who were armed with locally-made guns and cutlasses, took advantages of bad spots on the expressway to rob motorists and pedestrians at nights.
They were also said to have raided some homes at Divine and Ketu areas of Ijanikin, recently.
