Jackie Chan’s son, Jaycee has been freed after being jailed for 6 months for drug related charges in China. Jaycee was arrested and detained in August last year after a police raid on his home. He had tested positive for marijuana and was caught with 100g of the substance.
A Beijing court sentenced him in January, taking into account his time already spent in jail. Jaycee who is also an actor like his dad, was arrested alongside Taiwanese movie star Kai Ko, who was detained for two weeks for drug use.
Jackie Chan on the other hand is currently in Asia promoting his new movie, Dragon Blade. He has expressed relief over his son’s release.
