Wife of the Benue Governor, Mrs. Eunice Ortom, has appealed for a review of high bride-prices in Tiv land in order to enable young men get married when due. She made the appeal to Tov Tiv-elect, Prof. James Ayatse on Tuesday, February 21, when she led women from the fourteen Tiv speaking local government areas of the state on a courtesy visit to the Ayatse in his private residence located in judges quarters, Makurdi, the state capital. 27 of Mugabe’s Guards Suspended Over His Embarrassing Fall

People are still talking about that awkward moment 90-year-old president of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe fell in public. And now, 27 of Mugabe’s security guards who were present during the incident are bearing the brunt of the backlash. They have all been suspended, Times Live reports. Sources state that in the aftermath of Muagbe’s fall, a thorough investigation was conducted. “There are many departments that are being investigated, from Air Zimbabwe, the advance team and the security.
